I think it's great to have a filename convention. However I think it would be preferable to use the ISO 8601 date format (YYYY-MM-DD) and put the type after the name. This way, an alphabetic file listing will sort the files by ascending date, and group the rallye materials together. i.e.:
yyyy-mm-dd-"NAME"-"TYPE"
