The following are gimmick rallye class structures that TRC has used in the past.

1982-1988, 96-98 (5 Classes, No Master Expert)

GIMMICK RALLYE CLASS STRUCTURE

MOST EXPERIENCED PERSON IN CAR DETERMINES CLASS

FIRST TIMER - THIS IS YOUR FIRST GIMMICK (OR VARIETY) RALLYE

BEGINNER - HAVE WON ZERO TO ONE GIMMICK RALLYE AWARDS

NOVICE - HAVE WON TWO TO FIVE GIMMICK RALLYE AWARDS

SENIOR - HAVE WON MORE THAN FIVE GIMMICK RALLYE AWARDS

EXPERT - YOU (AND WE) KNOW WHO YOU ARE

This class structure is a general guideline. If you have past or out-of-area rallye experience, or do not think you would be competitive in the class this structure would put you in, discuss it with the Rallyemaster, TRC Rallye Director or Variety Rallye Committee Chairman.

1988-1996, 98-99, 2003-Current (6 Classes, Master Expert brought back from early 1970s)

EXPERT - YOU (AND WE) KNOW WHO YOU ARE

MASTER EXPERT - EVERYONE KNOWS WHO YOU ARE!

2002-2003 (5 Classes, Novice & Master Expert classes brought back)
