Note that there is no limit on computational equipment, as long as it is not connected to an odometer (or any other mileage measuring device).

Class A: Unlimited Equipment

Teams must compete in this class if they are using

  • a non-stock odometer (or one with precision finer than 0.1 miles),
  • an odometer in a non-stock location, or
  • an odometer connected to any computational equipment.

Class B: Expert

Teams that have won more than 5 First Place awards in timed rallyes.

Expert teams may use only a stock odometer (with precision no finer than 0.1 miles) in a stock location, not connected to any computational equipment.

Class C: Novice

Teams that have won fewer than 3 First Place awards in timed rallyes as Novices (5 total First Place awards, including the 2 won as Beginners).

Novice teams may use only a stock odometer (with precision no finer than 0.1 miles) in a stock location, not connected to any computational equipment.

Class D: Beginner

Teams that have won fewer than 2 First Place awards in timed rallyes.

Beginner teams may use only a stock odometer (with precision no finer than 0.1 miles) in a stock location, not connected to any computational equipment.
